COVID-19 Borough Closures
For the safety of our children, the Easter Party has been postponed. When the party is rescheduled, the date will be posted here and on our Facebook Page.
Please note that Knisely Hall is closed until further notice. If you have a reservation, you can either select another date or request a refund when the offcie reopens.
Wormleysburg –In light of the Governor’s Order, Wormleysburg Borough offices are closed. Payments to the Borough can be mailed or dropped off on the drop box at the front door. If you would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Should you need assistance you can email the Borough at email@example.com. If you have an emergency call 911. If you have a sewer emergency call 717.514.0416.
This includes the Tax Office.Please note trash will still be picked up with the exception of large bulk items.
The office, located at 20 Market Street in Wormleysburg, maintains a drop-off slot next to the front door (facing Market Street) for bill payments, permit applications, and other correspondence. Events scheduled in Borough Council Chambers and Knisley Hall through the end of March are cancelled. Borough business—including Council, committee and community meetings—will be suspended through the end of March. Borough residents are asked to monitor the Borough website (www.wormleysburgpa.org) and Facebook for an announcement regarding the Community Easter Egg Hunt currently scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 9 a.m. in Redding Park.
Borough Council President Tom Martini said, “We apologize if this inconvenienced any residents; however, the majority of our services remain accessible by electronic means. In light of advice from national leaders, we feel this is a prudent course of action.
